Rose Florence Doran was the eleventh child, (seventh daughter) of David Daniel and Sarah Jane Pickard Doran. She and her younger twin, Ruth Frances, were born in DuBois, PA at 112 1/2 Evergreen on Monday, August 25, 1913.
Although at birth, Rose was the more robust baby, she did not thrive and died 19 days later at 2 pm Saturday, September 13th. Dr. John I. Brockbank, who delivered the twins as well as attended to Rose in her illness, noted "athrepsia infantius" as the cause of death on the death certificate.
Rose was buried in the Catholic Cemetery of DuBois, the next day, Sunday September 14, 1913.

PA 1910 Census has Dr. John I. Brockbank (age 52) living with his family on Grant Street in DuBois.
PA 1910 Census it looks like Burton J. Luther is an undertaker.
