If you could have someone check Buffalo City Directories for the photographer, and the addresses given on the photograph, it might help date the image. |

It was very common to have your picture taken with your girlfriend. You could share the costs. We have "formal" pictures in our family where we thought the women were relatives only to find out much later they were dear friends. |
